What a performance from our U14s last night as they travelled away to Midleton for a Friday night lights clash in the South Munster League.

Midleton 12 – 35 Old Christians 💪

The lads started brilliantly, moving the ball around the park with great speed and making Midleton work hard in defence. Their efforts were rewarded with a 0–21 lead at half time.

Midleton came out strongly after the break and put our lads under serious pressure from the off. But the defence tonight was absolutely outstanding! 🧱💪

There were some exceptional try-saving tackles, particularly from our full-back, who produced a number of huge moments to keep Midleton at bay.

Eventually, Midleton managed to break through the Old Christians brick wall, but the lads responded brilliantly, regrouped and added a few more scores of their own.

Midleton crossed in the corner with the final play of the game to bring the score to 12–35.

A fantastic squad effort from start to finish. Great teamwork, commitment and character shown by every player who took to the field tonight. 👏👏

A very proud coaching team !
