Dunmanway 8 Old Christians 3In what can only be described as a " full on " contest, we were unlucky to go down 8-3 to the Dohenys.
In a game of huge hits and fierce physicality, we stood up well to the home side. A Conor Mangan penalty had us level at three all and on top in the second half, when the home team got a try against the run of play.
Old warhorse, Charlie Higgins was well to the fore in this bruising game and he was well supported by the Twohig twins, Peter and Stephan. Next week end we entertain Cobh in the league and a win will be vital to get us back on track.
