Mitchelstown 30 Old Christians 12Our under 13 team had to give second best to huge Mitchelstown team in Saturday's league game. We would not be the biggest team in the world and when you come up against six foot plus 13 year olds, we will struggle in the short term.
We battled away gamely however and we had two fine tries from Kyle and Adam and coach Mattie was pleased with the heart and spirit in the team. Man of the match was Kyle O'Callaghan.
Next Saturday we entertain Charleville in Rathcooney and we hope to cover this game in a bit more depth.
